All reviews - 6. Granted, it is very well researched and will take you down memory lane, but the book is more like an encyclopedia instead of a fun visual journey. As we browse through each page, there are almost no pictures to remind us of what the item was and we had to rely on memory or the Internet to recall what each item looks like. It's all here, from ABBA to "Zoom," and the great thing about it is that it triggered my own memories from the era -- enough to suggest the authors to do a followup book. It's a great gift--ridiculously cheap--but you'll find yourself picking it up again and again. Even my kids have been holed up on the couch this afternoon reading passages out loud. Thanks for the memories, Gael and Brian!
